No, blame it on your fixation about masturbation. But, you know that that is not such a big deal. Plenty of guys have these same reactions. I would, however, do this when alone and not disturb or annoy your roommates. It would be disturbing if it continued non stop in their presence, so lighten up a little and take their concerns into account.

Disturbing in the way that you would do it when people are around. It's generally common courtesy to do stuff like that when you are alone in the room, and if you really had to jerk off you could have done it in the shower when people were around.
