A criminal record does not change an inheritance, especially a court-declared one

No I would suggest that the Crown Prosecution Service would have to issue proceedings and prove in court that the inheritance you received derived from the proceeds of the deceased's criminal activities.

the only way in which inheritance is not passed on to beneficiary is if the inheritance was gained through criminal activity and if proved so, would be seized as would any type of asset gained through illegal means.

so if the inheritance in question has been gained through illegal activities then you can kiss it goodbye!

Not likely, I cannot see what one has to do with the other! Unless there is moneys outstanding, the beneficiary should walk with the dough! Is it you? Spend it wise!
