It would be ideal if I had such a person. I'm not sure anyone is that lucky. Tell your worst secret (many of them in some cases) and still have them stick around without changing how they perceive you? I can't even get my best friend to call me as much as I'd like. It's not like when we were kids. There wasn't even a thought as to what could be bad enough to hide. We were just ourselves.

Praying, writing in a diariy, and talking to a pet are all good ways to get things off your chest without burdening a friend or compromising your privacy. If you feel you have to tell a human, it's better not to burden one friend with everything. Try a priest or a psychologist--they get paid to listen.
