PLEASE ONLY MARY KAY CONSULTANTS AND DIRECTORS!(Family or friends of Mary Kay consultants are welcome)

I am just starting out as a consultant, and I would like some stories from anyone who would like to tell me of how they put themselves out there, and spoke to someone they DIDN'T know.

My family and friends have ordered from me, but I would like to venture out towards earning my first car, and getting orders from just people I know won't cut it.

Tell me about your experiences with Mary Kay, good or bad. All is welcome!

I was a Consultant. I didn't do well because I was working a full-time job, but the potential is there. A great way to get bussiness is to hand out samples with your card. Wear your pin !!! ALWAYS wear your pin -- people will come up to you alot -- "my consultant moved and I need..." or "my consultant is no longer selling..." talk to people everywhere...carry lollipops {sugar-free ones} in your purse and if you see a crying child in the store offer one to the parent then it opens the door to talk MK. I still have product left over from years ago...so good luck. Remember -- this is your bussiness and you have to work it to make it a success.
