Hi there, if you want natural and herbal remedies these are some of the best; Garlic, a traditional treatment for several types of parasites, garlics power to kill roundworm, thread worm, tapeworm and hookworm has been confirmed by scientific studies. Typical dosage; 2 or 3 raw garlic cloves per day, or three 500 to 600 milligramme capsules of powdered garlic per day. (look for products that supply a daily dose 4,000 to 5,000 micrograms of the active ingredient 'Allicin'). Caution do not use if you have stomach irritation, if you are soon to have surgery or if you take the blood thinner 'Warfarin'. If you're on insulin check with your doctor, as garlic can lower blood sugar levels.
Ginger, this common seasoning works against several parasites, including the Anisakis worm, which occurs in raw fish-a good reason for serving pickled ginger with sushi. Typical dosage; up to eight, 500 to 600 milligramme capsules a day, or half to 1 teaspoon ground root per day; or 10 to 20 drops of tincture in water three times a day. Caution do not take ginger continuously if you have gallbladder disease or are on blood thinning medication.

I do not think that "everyone" thinks that all natural products are safe. Some natural products can have harmful effects if taken improperly, even our every day food can be harmful if not chosen wisely or used moderately. Fewer of the natural products carry risks than pharmaceutical products and those that do pose risk have to be taken in pretty large doses to cause harm. Most of the natural products are simply food substances that have particular nutritive values, Almost all pharmaceuticals, while they have their place in treating symptoms, have toxic effects on the liver and kidneys, however mild or severe depends on the drug, many medications also weaken the immune system or have degenerative effects on the body. As in all things we must be educated caretakers of our bodies and make decisions wisely according to the situation. Do we need something to act fast against an immediate and severe problem? Do we need to restore a depleted body back to wellness? Do we wish to prevent illness? Each need would reqire a different protocol. It is not all or nothing. It is a matter of recognizing that we have many options to choose from and we must be responsible to learn for our own personal conditions what will do the most good and least harm.

I am not sure it is a good idea to treat oneself for parasites unless you know what you are trying to treat.
There is an excellent chapter on this in Elizabeth Lipski's book "Digestive Wellness" pg 219, that lists seven different natural remedies, but you should read the chapter for details and cautions; space here is not sufficient. book is available on Alibris.com

The one that seems to kick butt, is the one that is sold by a guy everybody calls MH. (Master Herblist). You can go to curezone.com and he has his own forum there called Ask Barefoot. (He's also called the barefoot herblist).
His website is http://www.askbarefootherbalistmh.com/
These links will point you in the right direction!
