One of my friend (a Taiwanese) drove a car in California without driver's lisence and got caught by local police. Actually he has been there (Oakland) for a language course, half year ago, and his international driver's liscence was overdue when he got caught. He did not understand what is going to happen (for example, how much was the fee? Someone said it's up to USD5000, is that ture?). And the officer also said if my friend go to get (to have the test) the driver's licence of California, the fee may not be that much, which sounds doubtful for us. Yet my friend's plan is to come back to Taiwan in 3 weeks, this solution seemed to be a littled bit rush for him.
We did not know what to do right now, can anyone helped us? Please and thanks in advance.

Hmm. I concept could you ignored the fee due date, then you definately owe extra. cool down. do no longer panic. basically wait until day after in the present day. you would be able to clean it up see you later as you will have the skill to come again up with the money for to pay it. There in all risk a penalty. basically clarify how in touch you're and which you basically have been given the understand late and maximum efficient the day long previous by using. it somewhat is somewhat a minor subject jointly as you placed all of it into attitude and look on the significant photograph. I say that so which you will have the skill to take a deep breath and relax and now no longer be so in touch. it could no longer supply help to in any admire to concern approximately it or stress approximately it jointly as you could no longer do something until day after in the present day morning so do no longer agitate your self.

the california department of motor vehicles will screw you big time. lawyers alone can be up to $2000 (if you need one in this case). and then california won't be easy on you at all and you will have to pay lots of money for many years.
