Beside waiting to see an ob asap, you should stay in bed as much as possible. Bleeding during early pregnancy may be caused by the placenta connecting to the uterus. 30% of pregnant women experience bleeding and 50% of them continue to have a healthy pregnacy. Don't give up hope! Good Luck.

hi there yes this can be worrying but don`t get all emotional try and relax,,it may be that its just the hormones and just a slight bleed which is normal in some women,,i have had 2 miscarriages and i have had 2 pregnancies where i did bleed in the early weeks (had full normally pregnancy after 11 wks) ,i have had 6 children and i must say each pregnancy is different,, but you must not get upset as this doesn`t help, you can go to the docs for a check up it depends on your age, history and the doc ,,you may be sent for a scan there again they may ask questions and say to see what happens,,if you are in the uk you can call nhs direct..for advice..

First call the Doctor, but don't worry it doesn't always mean that you lost the baby. I was spotting very minimal, and I did have some pinkish bleeding once and the doctor told me that it was the placenta attaching onto the uterus!! Good Luck, I am praying for the best!

You should definitely contact your physician. There are many reasons why this could be happening. One of them being what is called "breakthrough bleeding". You may experience spotting or light bleeding around the time that your menstrual period would have been due. This is known as 'breakthrough bleeding' and occurs as a result of increased levels of oestrogen, which can cause the cervix to become slightly reddened or eroded and bleed, especially after intercourse.

Go to the doctor. But it can be a bladder infection, a discharge due to pressure or a tear in the womb. Get a check up. Good luck my friend.

No some women spot several days, some a little and some more. If you have seen a Doctor already call him or have a OB/GYN call him. They will tell you to rest. It is good you have had no pain.

It's very normal for women to 'spot' in the first term.....if it continues for longer then 3 days contact your family doc. There is also the odd women out there where they continued to get their period through the few months of pregnancy. so don't panic make yourself a peppermint tea and put your feet up,avoid hot baths and just relax.
