I feel you, I had the same anxieties about my children, because you want to protect them from EVERYTHING! However, you will find that once they are born, you wouldnt want it any other way, then right by your side. You can't get their hugs and kisses, see their first steps, hear their first words if they are still inside of you. Everything will be ok, because I can already tell you will be a great mother.

I am 22 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby girl, I am really scared about her birth things did not go well with my first baby, So maybe you are haveing some anxiety about delivering the baby? And wanting to protect your little one is just part of being a mommy, but eventually your baby is gonna get too big to be in you and has to come out. But the up side is you will get to see a beautiful little person and watch them grow and change everyday.

Sometimes I think about how crazy the world has become. Even just school yard fights I think about or bulling. It scares me because I watched my nephew come to my mom's house everyday after school and I would ask how his day was and what he learned...the answer was always I dont know or nothing (he was only in Kindergarden at the time so it's not like he was just at that age where they say that), then I would ask about his recess and what he did and who he would play with, and he would tell me he sat by himself, it broke my heart and the bulling got so bad where his mom had to walk him into the class everyday. It breaks my heart to see how kids are growing up now, but I think it can all be avoided if we teach them good morals, raise them to learn respect and polite manners, and just to be friendly and not pick fights. Sometimes I wish my baby could just hang out in me forever, but I anticipate the day I see him/her and hold them and watch them grow.

You will be such a good mum!!! I felt pretty much the same way (considering this will be my last pregnancy I am trying to enjoy every bit of it)... until recently! I am almost 38 weeks and READY READY READY to have the little guy in my arms. The world may be rough, but I trust he will have a loving & protective mommy to care for him & he will grow up happy & loved. Good luck!

yeah, i used to think that way...then i hit 38 wks and i know i'm "full term" now and i'm sooooo ready to have my body back!
i'm done sharing:)

you go through so many different feelings and emotions when you're pregnant...it's pretty wild.

right now....i just want to see him and hold him. i don't want a big tummy anymore. i wanna sleep on my stomach and be able to bend over to pick something up....oh, and i'd like to do the dishes without standing at the sink sideways!!!! hee hee.

take care and enjoy these times! pregnancy is great....it just gets a little old toward the end;)

I just loved being pregnant the whole feel of it
although towards the end it gets very uncomfortable
But then again you will just love the feel of your baby at your breast or in your arms and to be able to look at her/him and realise that he/she is studying your face
You are feeling perfectly normal look forward all will be fine

that is nice, i know how you feel though except i didn't start feeling that way until after i had my baby, i missed being pregnant, the little things that they do, like when they get the hiccups or the little kicking. it's fun. i still miss it and my baby just turned 1

How far along are you? If it's not very far, I'm guessing that about the beginning of your ninth month, you'll be singing a totally different tune. :)
