All kinds...I am in NW NJ
There is a wine fest this weekend at Waterloo, there is a Scandinavian settlement right down the street & they have Lief Ericksen fest every year * it is fun! The Native Americans hold at least one Powow every year.
There is a balloon fest in Readington every year that is a blast.
I have seen signs for all kinds of festivals in this area, & I am sure there are lots more that I don't hear about!
The NE is a big place & that is just a small sampling from one corner of one state...

What kind of festivals are you looking for? I live in MA and we have the Country Fairs, King Richards Faire (I love that one), Portuguese Festivals. . .depends on what you're looking for.
