I haven't been on X-factor but I think I would consider it because I'd love to become famous, and it wouldnt be because I'd won. I'd be the one every remembers for having the worst voice and totally showing myself up because no-one loved me enough to stop me. You'd still see me on adverts n clips on telly years later. I'd probally sing shaddup your face especially for Simon Cowell (although I do think there is something about him, He's still a heartless nasty git)

I can sing a little bit, but nothing near the standard to win the competition. My voice isn't loud enough. Not sure what I would sing, probably a ballad so that I could show a bit of ambition. At my audition, I would want to do just enough to get through and make something of a good impression. Then I could get better as the programme goes along. Wouldn't want the judges expecting too much straight away.
Simon Cowell says in his autobiography that the winner isn't some kind of over-confident showboater (watch out scouser Raymond!) but someone who is quietly confident and grows in stature, gaining momentum all the way.

I am a terrible singer but I'd do it if I was sponsored for charity. Otherwise, no - I hate it when people waste my time in interviews by not having the skills required, so wouldn't waste theirs.
If I did it though, I'd sing 'Hey Big Spender' or 'Nobody Does It Better'.
You can tell some of them are there on a dare or for a laugh, not all of them can be THAT disillusioned!

no way! its a total farce-i knew someone who auditioned and you dont even get to see the judges until you have done at least 3 auditions with random people first...it means all the really crap people that get laughed at are actually put through in a really cynical way to "make good tv".
load of rubbish :)

I would love to go on it, I would love to sing 'Woman In Love', (Barbara Streisand) and I would love to win it.
Sadly, I will never go on it, I will never sing 'Woman In Love' ,
and I will never win it.
So there!
