I love Penny Smith but would love to meet her mum too. She speaks about her quite a lot on screen and you get the feeling the two of them are very alike. My favourite 'pennyism' is 'YOU'RE NOT BORED, YOU'RE BORING' to explain how they would fill their time as children. She has a wonderful balance of looks, style, humour and not taking herself too seriously.
She is far better than Fiona, who frankly deserves shooting for having the worst laugh on TV - Its like a bath emptying! I think you would have to ask the show producer (Fiona's husband) as to why Penny was overlooked for the job when Anthea Turner left.
When it comes to serious interviews Penny is better too. Fiona is an asslicker of the highest order. Penny actually interviews them rather than just asking the question and letting them get away with non answers.
Claire makes me laugh too. Why they need to send her into the foothills of Scotland, just to say 'today there will be snow' I'll never know.

A sense of humour. Penny makes me laugh out loud as Im getting ready for work in the mornings....I love her little quipps....as for Clair....that day when the big wave came over her while she was giving the weather report...classic. That will be on "alright on the night" for years to come. PS...for Loupy Lou.....40 is just a number, dont mean to say you got to stop enjoying yourself and feeling like your still 25. Wait till you get there.

Penny is hilarious and humour is always attractive.
Clair is petite and guys love that too.
And yes, 40 IS just a number, the fact is that Penny is actually 47 and wearing bloody well.

Yes they are very attractive women but dont you think Penny acts like a immature teenager? She is so irritating! I mean shes pushing 40 but acts like a teenager.
