lead to their downfall? If you look at most energy producing companies, they are led and supported by the right of the republican party. If global warming is indeed the biggest threat to our exsistence on earth ( 20/20 said so last night) major cutbacks would be forced on these companies, and a new energy source ( hydrogen, solar energy) would take over. This energy source would be cheap as sirt and work well, so everyone would use it, leading to bankruptcy and closures of the old energy companies, hurting the right wing base. Do you think they are holding back becasuse t's their own little fight for survival in the world of business and politics

Global warming is very controversial. Nobody can really prove it since we are actually at the tail end of an ice age. We might be warming as part of the end of an ice age cycle.

If global warming were true, where are all the hurricanes?

Addition:

According to the global warming theory, everything is supposed to just get worse and worse until the world implodes. Katrina was last year, it's old news now, we are supposed to be getting more this year and then more the next, etc. Hurricanes have been hitting for centuries, some of the most destructive ones we know about happened earlier in the 20th century but there just wasn't the media coverage or ability to track like we can today, and the population density on the coasts have grown so that when the do hit the damage to property is far more. And as far as temp rising, the highest temps recorded were decades ago and we haven't come close since. Global warming is a farce, as far as your comment about the ice caps, didn't that also happen centuries ago when the ice age ended, or did humans do that to?
