I am looking at loosing weight and i have tried everything in the past from not eating very much to eating 3 meals a day and taking Slimming pools but nothing seems to shift the weight. I have been told it might have something to do with my metabolisum, What can i do to speed this up so i am burning calories quicker

Exercise with boost it... whatever you do, don't stop eating or eat really little, your metabolism will just slow way way down because it doesn't have anything to work on. Caffeine will work, but instead of a soda try a cup of coffee in the morning or a cup of tea... black coffee is the best for you without all the sugar. Try eating more smaller meals through out the day, but keep up the exercise.

Eat about 6 small meals per day instead of 3 regular ones. Your body has to burn energy to digest food, so more meals is better. You may want to see your doctor about your thyroid, also. The thyroid gland controls your metabolism, and if it's not working properly, it could cause you to have a slow metabolism. I also use Hydroxycut Hardcore. Two pills in the morning and I'm good to go all day.

Eating more often kicks your metabolism into a higher gear. Instead of 3 meals, eat 6 times a day. Excersise also speeds up metabolism.

Eat six small meals a day. The more you keep the body digesting and processing food, the more your metobolic rate increases. The trick is stay away from junk food like soda, fried foods, and stuff with high amounts of preservatives. Also increase your water intake.

I'd agree with most of the other answers.

Exercise.

Eating more small meals a day so that your blood sugar levels remain steady.

Drink lots of water or green tea. (avoid alcohol, coffee, cola other stimulants)

Avoid sugar and additives.

Add chilli peppers or cayenne pepper to your food as much as possible (chilli may increase your metabolic rate by as much as 50%!!!)

Ensure you have a good breakfast.

i am having the same problem- however i have been told to eat 5-6 small meals a day as this keeps your metabolism working

you could also get your thyroid checked- if its underactive you will have difficulty losing weight without some help

To speed up metabolic rate, try walking and jumping rope to start. At all cost avoid sugar, candy, sweets, carbs should be very limited... Drink Green Tea, throw away all soda, it stops you from losing weight.
