yeah actually me and my husband have used the company for a few years now. They just help you find local lawyers nd you get like 20% off legal services, it saves you money and you pay like 32.99 a month

Prepaid Legal is 32-year-old company that is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange, with all of its financial reports and information available to everyone who asks. (Check out the Corporate website at http://www.prepaidlegal.com) Anyone who still believes that the company is a scam hasn't done their homework, and is probably going off of 3rd-party exposure to either the product or the business opportunity. I commend you for "doing your homework" before jumping into it. They've even been favorably featured in various legitimate financial magazines like Forbes & Money. If you check out their stock history over the last ten years, it's been pretty good too (there's someplace on their website where you can do a stock history for a specific number of years, if you want). I just recently became an associate myself (and I HATE "get-rich-quick" schemes!!), so I did my homework too before signing up. So far I've made over $1,100...which is way more than what I had to invest. Continue to do what you're doing (research), but make sure your answers are coming through the right sources. Best of luck to you!

Yeah, bad idea. You pay for lawyers just like insurance. Why pay for a lawyer when you don't need one? And mostly they deal with you over the phone from other states. It just doesn't seem personal. The real scam is that it's a pyramid scheme and you try to sell their services to other people to get a % while the lawyers (who don't need more money in the first place, and if they do, how good do they know the law if they use themselves on a pyramid scheme?) sit back and take people's money when they aren't using the service. That's like me making a payment to a restaurant monthly when I'm not eating there. You know?

Yep! I have a pre-paid legal plan through my
employer. It is great. I have used it several times.

Yes I have. It's a get rich scheme that is quasi legal. IF you are worried about having legal fees. I suggest you just save your money yourself.

Now it might be a good idea if you are a terrorist( non suicide bomber type) or drug dealer. But for the average person it's not a good bet.

as quickly as I first had them they have been stunning! Years later I signed up back and the service became undesirable- they did no longer pick to do something (different than collect their exams from pay as you go). the 1st time they might deliver out letters for me and supply me suggestion- the 2nd time I had to pry any form of action out of them. Their rushing value tag help became no help the two- they weren't familiar with the site visitors regulations interior the state the place I won the value tag and that i gave them extra suggestion that I have been given. you basically on no account understand, i assume.

Yes my husband and I were forcefully entered into it as a part of the get rich quick sceme of a "family friend". There are pros and cons to it. PRO - It is like an insurance plan if you need it, but they also write and update a Will for you free of charge each time your lifestyle/family status changes. CON- one hardly ever needs it, if your a law abiding citizen.

Think of it as an insurance program. You pay them so much per month, and if you need a lawyer they get you a big discount on one.
