...flown an airplane? When I was in school, the family of a friend of mine owned a small airport, and one day when we were up, he suddenly took his hands off all the controls, and told me to do it! He let me fly the entire way, until we landed...he wouldn't let me try that...lol. It was truly exhilerating, and if I had the money, I would have had my pilot's license and a plane, by now!

ive steped in several when my dad was in the air force. other then that, no ive never flown in one. im afraid of heights.

Anyway, no, I have never flown an airplane. I'm not even that good of a driver, so I don't think anyone would ever be crazy enough to let me do that.

Yes, but it was a long time ago and I made the mistake of paying for my flight lessons in advance. I soloed and completed my cross country flight, then the company went bankrupt and that was it. In retrospect, it wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be, but I am/was a bit of a barn-stormer at heart, and there were so many rules and regulations against buzzing cows and people that I really haven't missed it much.

No but I drove a sulky in a harness race and THAT was a BLAST! Thundering hooves, your butt thisclose to the track, huge horses surrounding you...Windy Budd and I didn't win but we had a HELLUVA time!
