Depending on what medication, the drug manufacturer may have a "patient assistance" program, or you may qualify for Medicaid, there might be another government program out there that you do not know about, and most importantly, you doctor may know of something or be able to provide you with coupons, samples, or the generic brand etc...I found out a ton of information and websites in the book "Healthcare for Less" by Michelle Katz. I thought I knew them all!!! This book was easy to read and gave me some great cost saving healthcare advice that I have passed on to my patients. You can fing the book at Barnes and Noble, Borders and Amazon. I hope that helps!

There are a few options, first try your local Health and Human Services agency. Also contact the maker of the medication they often offer patient assistance.
You can also try one or both of these:

My daughter does not have drug coverage. I have used both of these cards. The first one helps only with medications on their list, the second helps with any prescription.
