She misses him so much that it affects her everyday life. She's a walking mass of worry, depression, and anxiety. I fear she's on the verge of a breakdown. How can I help her?

My boyfriend is in the services. I was lucky enough to have met him after he had done his tour in Iraq and wont' be going back for a while but i can only imagine how she feels right now. I would feel the same way. Encourage her to use counseling services .Just be there for her. Encourage her to meet other woman in the same situation, join an online group or something. Just try and give her as much support as possible.

The military has all types of family counseling available, but being a military spouse she should know that. encourage her to use it. Take her out to have a good time.

Encourage her to seek counseling. I'm sure there's counseling available to military wives.
