Yes mine hurt a lot. Your body is working hard to CARE for the baby. See your dentist. Many times ladies focus so much attention on the pregnancy they forget about the dental visits. Drink a lot of milk and ask your doctor about taking extra calcium. Take your prenatal vitamins too they'll help. Try not to clinch your teeth. Good luck!

Yes, mine did something awful. Pregnancy hormones in your body leave your susceptable to many diseases like gingivitis. Even if you brush your teeth & floss & everything else that you are supposed to do, you should go to your dentist to get it checked out. It's not a dirty thing, you could have just had one cavity (even if you can't see it on the outside, there may be one inside a tooth) and it got infected & spread, or the pain just spread. It could also be nothing (it seems like everything aches when you're pregnant), but when I went to my OB he said to go to the dentist & get it checked out & it ended up being my wisdom teeth coming in (hair & nails are not all that grows during pregnancy LOL) & I also had cavities that had just gotten worse because of the hormone levels in my body. I'm not at all the skip a brushing type. I actually brush 3 times a day & floss reguarly & use mouthwash also. It can happen to anybody, just to be safe, get it checked out.

It's common for your gums to bleed easily during pregnancy and I also have heard friends say that their teeth became weak during pregnancy due to the lack of calcium in their diet. The baby takes what it needs from wherever it can pull it from and unfortunately your teeth is one place. Hope this helps!

mine haven't, however, i've heard of other people with teeth problems during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
my grandma gave birth to 7 kids and those kids turned her bottom teeth to mush. all the calcium just got sucked right out of her!
pregnancy is very hard on your teeth, so i'd ask your OB for some calcium supplements and also be sure to drink plenty of milk and eat dairy....they will help with calcuim intake and they are good sources of protein!!!
take care.

I have heard this is a common problem. I am currently experience some gum bleeding & soreness. Just take good care of your teeth/gums - floss daily & rinse periodically throughout the day with a mouthwash/antiseptic. I guess it's just one of the many joys of pregnancy! yippee!!!

Every part of your body is effected by pregnancy. I got a cavity with each one of my pregnancies. Only had one in 24 years before that point!
