Its quite normal to get twingey, crampy feelings when you are pregnant. I had period type pains from 2 weeks before my period was due and they carried on throughout the first trimester - I still get them now (I'm 26 weeks). My stomach has been growing a lot lately and I've had quite a few of them. They seem allied to the growth.
My doctor told me they are quite normal and are just a symptom of your uterus stretching, muscles and ligaments being pulled and stretched and growing, just like your doctor said.
The only pains you need to worry about are really severe, doubled-over type painsaccompanied by bleeding, which could signify a miscarraige. Other than than, simple period-type cramps and twinges are perfectly normal.

I drank some paint by accident a few weeks back.I died but just before dying managed to get dressed that way I had a lovely streak free finish.
(Ok it wasn't that good but it is the best I can do right now)

yes i had exactly the same pains and didnt think that it could have been growing pains but it was and i went on to have a very healthy pregnancy. So dont worry as i believe it is a sign that the baby is growing normally.

Yes it is growing pains, it gets worse with subsequent pregnancies. Nothing to worry about though, completely normal. There isn't really anything you can do, warm baths helped me a bit.

yea ur organs are all over the place cause of the baby growing, passing gas soimetimes hurt, peeing hurts, ur bowel moving hurts. the best advice i can give is never hold anything in. if u feel like u have to pee do it at that mometn, if u have to poop do it, if u have to fart do that too. holding that stuff in can only make things worse.
