it seems as if every other customer that ASKS for help seems to be a computer technician. yet when asked about where they work they either shut up or stutter and change the subject. do they really have to lie!?!?

the funny part is they ask about what EVERY spec means.. and when you ask them more about their experience all they can answer is "ive been building computers since the 70s!!"

then the part that always get em....

"if your a pc tech, why are you shopping at circuit city and not newegg or ebay"

....they respond with "new what?"

then theres always the pc tech who takes his computer in for repair. LOL. who needs RAM but they dont know what kind and/or asks how much we charge for spyware removal and system restoring.

LOL i know exactly what your talking about i work at CC too in califronia , i work in the pc tech department and the worst customer are those you are talking about because they think they know but they have no idea. i hate cheap ppl too, once i had a chinese/japanese customer who didnt want to pay for the $30 memory install on laptop but she didnt know how to do it so she started stopping people walking around in the store to ask them if they know how to do it, i couldn't believe it, TRUE STORY.

They bought some components, slapped them together and now they are experts... go figure. When I was doing Systems Admin work for a large telemarketing firm, the sales associates were all PC experts because they had a PC at home. I'll bet that they think A+ is a grade. "What? Its a certification??" ;-)
