As with so many people I see on the news the bombings and the terror, but the news has completed failed to educating us in what the terrorist believe in. It seems as if all the news is worried about what, when, and where, and we have forgotten to ask WHY. So hopefully you guys can help me. Why are so many terrorist against American, what are we doing that they disagree with?
Is it our technolgy? Is it our highly sexual society? Or something else?

they are ignorant and they want power. they are jealous of our technology and advancement and they worry that we are damned because we are a free nation! they are a bunch of religious fanctics who are like hitler!

So many of THOOSE terrorists are against america (understand that terrorism isn't just a bunch of Muslim extremists in the middle east, terrorism isn't just a group of people who believe in the same thing, it is a bunch o fpeople against or for something and believe that violence or creating fear is the only way to get what they want, in theory, the school bully is a terrorist) is because western society has different ideas of what is right and what is appropiate, which includes the sex, the violence, the drugs, the infidelity, all of those "bad things" that we may not individually enjoy about our society, but are there, an daccepted, anyways. Islam has many very strict laws, laws that can be misinterpeted and twisted to do things that Muhamad or Allah would not approve of, but it is almost the opposite of what we do in the western world. I believe that these muslim extremists (who by far dont' make the majority of the muslim population, there are many points in Islam that I think are good, as long as you don't twist them around, and a lot of msulims believe in those) wouldn't have a problem if the U.S. didn't have this habit of subjectign their culture on the rest fo the world. All around the world, what are people listenign to? Rap and hip hop, what could be more against these people's ideals than rap and hip hop? These are people who don't want their culture to be replaced by a culture that believes the complete opposite than they believe, and just take it way too far.

People, people, people. In 1775 the founding fathers of the U.S. would all have been considered terrorists. Because they won, they became Freedom fighters. This is no different. The ideaology of the combatants remain the same. If you win, you are a freedom fighter, if you lose, you are a terrorist. Times and weapons and methods change but the winners write the history books.

The terrorists disagree with us supporting a democratic Jewish state in Israel. They also are afraid of governments that allow their citizens to make up their own minds about God and how to worship. Terrorists are mis-guided brainwashed people who need pitied.

Our society in general. Can you name ONE Islamic individual that has made ANY contribution in regards to electronics, engineering, mathematics, inventions, medicine, education, food production, manufacturing, or practically anything? They are entirely against progress, and want all people to live as they do, it's not only about religion.

Islamic Jihadist, from the cradle to the grave, are taught that anyone not of the Muslim faith is an infidel. Their "Bible" or whatever they read, actually teaches that all infidels must be killed. We are infidels in their mind. Their point is to rid the world of infidels thereby making Muslims rule the world.

I think it is mostly our way of life that they are against, they live the old ways like in the old testment and view our way of life sinful. But isn't that up to God as we call him or in other words the supreme being? We are NOT to Judge others, don't know where in the bible, but it says judge not least ye be judged!
Why can't they just live their lives and we live ours, I mean really, what do they care and why?
