I had a period which lasted about 15 days it finally finished last month on the 16th august 2006, that day on the 16th august 2006 me and my partner had unprotected sex as we are trying to conceive, one week later on the 23rd of august 2006 i started to bleed again like a normal period but this time it ended 6 days later on the 29th of august- so then me and my partner had unprotected sex again, but then today on the 31st of august 2006 i had an eggy white discharge- which ive heard could be symptons of pregnancy or ovulating-
if the white discharge is a sympton of ovulating does that mean i am ovulating today or i am going to be ovulating within the next two days.
i cant do a hpt as it is to soon to tell,
also can you ovulate two days after your period?
some information would really help me out please.
thank.

you can get pregnant on your last day of period because there is no mucus plug in the cervix. The white discharge is not sign of ovulation, but that you are close. Sign of ovulation is slippery, swollen vulva. Go to www.woomb.org. It will tell you about the Billing's method which teaches you how to look for ovulation signs and when to have sex. It also gives you charts to do.

If you are ovulating two days after your period, then you may have an lutheal phase defect of some sort, which would make it harder to become/stay pregnant. Are your periods usually that screwed up? It sounds terrible. My best advice would be to go to the store and buy a pack of ovulation prediction tests. They are like $10-$15 for 10 of them, and they will tell you the 48 hour window in which you ovulate. It is best to have sex during that time in order to increase your chances of becoming pregnant. If you did not become pregnant this month, I suggest you take a look at the Sperm Meets Egg Plan. It is very structured and worked for me and my husband the first month trying and we only used the short version. Here is a link! I hope I helped some.

Also, check out www.babycenter.com, and browse some of their bulletin boards. I am sure they will have a board that can help you out. :)

. go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

Your not having a normal cycle. If you want to get pregnant, you need to go see your ob-gyn. They will be able to get your cycle normal through meds. You will have to do this so you know when your going to be ovulating, otherwise, your just shooting at fish in a barrel.
