effaced,, but today the cramps seem to have worsened today,, but they still arent regular ,, has anyone ever went through their entire labor with irregular contractions?

I am in my 9th month also and I am having cramps as I speak right now I went to the hospital twice adn I was dilated to 2 and they said its normal but I dont think it is, so I have told myself I am not going back to the hospital to get sent home I am gonna either wait until my water breaks or im bleeding or when she is coming out, because these cramps hurt so bad, I am gonna actually try walking up and down my stairs a couple laps, I hope this has helped.

I never had regular contractions with my first child. They were off all the way until I had the baby. I know what you mean...I have been having irregular contractions for a while now too and I am dialated to 2 and 70% effaced. I am tired of being pregnant.
I would go to the hospital all they can do is send you home.

it could possibly be each time now. My OB reported that at 3 cm, the well being facility will admit you on energetic hard artwork. yet no longer any till now than that. My sister became 3 cm while she went to her docotrs for a examine up and advised her she will bypass homestead and wait it off and time her contractions or bypass to the well being facility. yet interior of three hours from her examine up, she dialated to fifty one/2 cm.

yep I went into preterm labor at 33 weeks and was 4cm dialated and walked around like that (on meds of course) until 37 weeks when I was taken off the meds and as soon as I was off the meds I went into labor due to my son thinking I was a water slide and attempting to come out hands 1st I was very irregular

I am going threw the same thing. The doctor said they should become regular on there own, but if I pass my due date or my water brakes then they will give you something to help them. All we want is this baby out!

thats the point for walking to make it hurt worse to make ur contractions stronger and more regular KEEP walking

From my experience doctors dont send you home when u are 3 cm dialated!

not that I know of. They gave me pitocen and my contractions became very regular. They get regular so you know when you push. Good luck!!! Call your dr. if your past your due date.

Sounds like you are going to have a baby. Go to the hospital.

yeah mine did with the first one.....i advise you to walk....walk around the house or up and down your driveway.....that helps regulate and progress labor. I did it with my second one and it really helped.
