I mean it's live to a point, yeah most of the stuff is scripted as far as what they say and things they can do. Remember when the rage against the machine member climb up on the platform? He really got arrested because that wasn't part of the plan. And last year when Fat Joe and 50 Cent were beefing, all the foul language. They started doing delays thru out the show so they can catch the antics, from it being live. But if you ask me it's as real as they are going to allow.

definitely rehearsed. they'd rather have controversy than be cancelled. some of those people can get really crazy, especially the one's that get drunk and/or high on whatever before/during the show. i think the only thing not scripted are the acceptance speeches. either way i love it!

It doesn't matter what show it is--if it's on TV, it's rehearsed, including the 'reality' shows.
