To be more specific, believe that th government orchestrated the attacks themselves so they could wage war all over the middle east with the undying support of the angry American people.

I'm Canadian, not American, but apparently the percentage of people believing that there is a cover-up is growing every week. Here in Canada the CBC is going to have a show on that very topic in the next week or so. I don't know what day it's on but I will definitely watch.
I have a hard time believing the American government had anything to do with that just because it was such a horrible thing and I can't imagine them killing so many of their own citizens just to further their agenda but, I will watch the show with an open mind because, as they say.....sometimes truth is stranger then fiction!

The small % that watch things like "m.moore's f.9-11" & take it at face value as the truth w/out taking the time to watch the rebuttal fareinhype9-11 or just do some research on their own. There'll always be those who are American but are anti-american for the most part. The backwoods militias that have been around for years that say everything is a gov't conspiracy. Which is exactly the type of response the Radical Islamists love to see...

I am an american, and I believe that while it wasn't a government cover-up or a planned event by our government, it was horribly exloited to screw over the rest of the world and that our government had the power and the warning signs to have made sure this hadn't happened, I mean, they tried this once before! It may not have been government sponsored, but it was government exploited and that's pretty bad too.

First of all the american population is so ignorant to believe a man with no pourpose would attack several american buildings. Second they also ignored the fact that bush wanted this war since it would benifit him in the long run (two term rule) specialy since know president has been kiked out off office in the middle of a war. And thirdly a building made of a steel fram would not fall to a heat temp of about 950 degrees b/c it melts to about a 1850 degrees. In addition a building cannot fall at the speed of gravity since the bottom layer would resist the fall and cause the "Pancake theory." SO I ASK YOU AMERICA WHY TRUST ON A GOVERNMENT THAT LIES TO ITS OWN PEOPLE, MEAN WHILE YOU ALL BELIEVE WHAT THEY TELL YOU?

back in 2006,greater beneficial than a nil.33 of human beings believed the two federal officers have been area of 9/11,or did not something to end it. in my view i'm shocked it grew to become into that many. i don't be responsive to the percentages for at present although.

100% of hardcore Democrats in America believe 9/11 was a government coverup. They are the same ones that believe we never went to the moon yet, at the same time, believe there are space aliens living in Roswell, NM.

Does it really matter what people believe?

I don't thin k that is was a cover up. I do believe that the government is not telling everything. For example when the Brits caught those guys in London, it was US who told them not to release any information until they were told to do. Who knows what to make out of this government.

I'm not American but given that Americans are not known for synchronising their thoughts with their actions (they re-elected George W Bush, after all), I'd say a pretty low percentage actually believe it.

I'm American but I don't believe the government was behind 9/11. Why and how could our own government kill its own people and cause so much damage? I think the terrorists are reponsible.
