I dont have a limit for downloads, it was a main factor in choosing my ISP, I went for Bulldog 16meg unlimited, the connection is great but the customer service is a joke,

Mine is unlimited.... I have never ever run out of it ... I was once crazy for downloads and was downloading CCTV camera footage from my CCTV camera from my office, Perhaps had downloaded 2-3 Gb per night for the whole month and it all worked fine... ... But remember piracy laws are very strict... Once THEY start monitoring your connection you are *!@*ed.. Ideally for internet browsing 512 KB is more than enough.... Also ISPs boast of "UPTO" 24mBs but is real terms you get no more than 2-3 mb in most parts of UK

I just normal surf as well.I have unlimited so I dont really know how much I download and am unsure of what it means exactly by downloading and reaching limits etc.I presume it means what you download and save.

I'm unlimited...none of that 'fair usage' rubbish!!
500Mb is OK for the average person. But if you download a couple of game demos it'll be gone in one night.....

I havent got a cap. I use bradband, Telewest and pay £25 for 14meg

I do not have a download cap. The only limit is the space in my computer. 500,000kb should be sufficient for you.

I have downloaded gigs in 3 days. 500MB are beans to other i know. You don't have to worry about a thing

Start off it a low and work your self up depending on your needs.
I really don't have a cap on mine, I don't pay to much attention to how much i use.

then you don't really need much at all. 500mg is more than enough, I use much less than that and there are 3 people in this house, and the internet is in constant use.

depends on what your isp allows, mine allows me to download 40gb but i never download that much.
