Yes. The small farms are getting squeezed by taxes and developers. Banks don't give mortgages to people wanting to buy a farm, so the farmer/seller is forced to hold the mortgage and hope the buyers won't stiff them. Pave a little more of the continental U.S. and we will be importing everything...like Hawaii already does. Ask them what the cost of food there is... Time for people to start appreciating our ability to grow our own food and support the family farms before the price of food is worse than the price of gas...
