i think i am having constipation.. i don't sh!t everyday.. Maybe once or twice a week which is very bad.. I do eat a lot though.. I have been like that since few years back.. I don't face any pain, cramps or anything.. But now when I think about it.. I am starting to freak out.. Because I am afraid I might have "stomach cancer" someday.. Just like my grandmother who also sh!ts very seldom.. I am trying to make my self sh!t everyday by eating papaya with lime, vegetables, drinking tons of water but I don't feel like going to toilet.. I can sit there for an hour and not sh!ting at all.. Please help me.. I don't want to get stomach cancer in the future.. How can I avoid this problem??

First, go get a checkup at the doctor to make sure everything is okay.

Some people don't go every day. I have a friend who goes once every two weeks - it's just normal for her. Eat more fiber - like bran flakes or muffins, whole grain foods and keep up the veggies!

Do not worry, some people have a very slow bowel action its quite normal.others go every day but its nothing to worry about,don't go to the toilet and strain to try and have a bowel movement as this can bring on hemorrhoids or another name for them is piles these can be very painful, and shall also bleed, keep eating your fruit and have a good breakfast cereal with plenty of fibre in it read the packets in the supermarkets

Take 4000 milligrams of vitamin C every day. You WILL develope bowl movements. The vitamin C will aid also in preventing cancer . Do not take doctor prescribed drugs or over the counter meds for the constipation. It will foul up your system and your body will become dependent on using them. Improve your diet with citrus fruits. peace.

first of all, go to the dr. he can prescribe you some over the counter meds that help you stay regular........i am not regular and haven't been since i had my child, it could be days or weeks even b4 i will go , i try to eat fruits and things like that . i went to dr and he told me to take fibercon which is a pill form that you take everyday that will help you get regular.......and there are others meds like that as well............you have pills, powders that you can take, try those first if they dont' work, go to the dr and tell him you have history of stomach cancer in your family........good luck

You need to visit your doctor. Also increase your fiber intake. They make several fiber supplements that work well. Some now grit free and tasteless.

if you find an good answer let me know....I am actually worse of than you....once every two to three weeks....

I eat lots of fruit and veggies....lots of whole gran.....bran.....drink about two gallons of water a day.....alas no poopies for me.....

I have even tried herbal medicines that say they are guaranteed to work......my body gets used to it and still no stinkies.....

my doctor told me it was IBS.....and gave me the newest med....(Zelnorm)....it cost me about $90 a month and still nothing....
