Give your hamster food it likes. Also, hamsters tend to do all their eating at night. Maybe you're just not noticing that it ate some?

try putting yogurt in a small dish with some of his food on top. He should at least eat the yogurt. Yogurt helps keep them from getting wet tail too. You can purchase yogurt drops (hard) for them at stores too.

go to a pet shop, buy 1 that you never buy before for a change....I did it....they went crazy for the new type of food..

Make sure you change his food everyday even if there is food in his dish... they hide their food
