Best time April, May, June, July, September (avoid August , too many tourists).
There are many places to visit there. Don't miss Festos and Knossos, Zackros, the canyon of Samaria, Malia village, Preveli area, Ierapetra, Rethymnon, Sfakia
The cost of life is medium to low. The price of food is approx 10€ per person in a restaurant or tavern. and the double bed room costs approx. 40€. but there are many offers(search in Internet) There are also expensive hotels and restaurants. Cost depends on you. Have a nice trip. Ti.

Things to do in Crete: No limit!

According to me: September!
Regarding spending, it could be anything from 30 Euro to thousands per day! Something like 100 would be adequate for the lower class. Something like 200 could be fine! It depends on the organization and style you wish! Give us some more info and we will try to assist!
