(guys only)
If a girl didn't know how to sew,but wanted to learn only to make you a quilt or a blanket (but a manly one) with her own 2 hands?

would you like it,or not care?

also,how old are you please?

I would be learning how to do this, for this occasion,
never have done this before.

Even if it wasn't very good, I would appreciate the time and effort she put into it.

Not a guy...but I hear the average guy would rather we learn how to solder IPODs, upgrade their computers/networks, or give them some other gadget-like toy.

And the thing about gifts is that you get them something THEY'VE been wanting, not something WE want to give them... so you have to find out what HE thinks and would appreciate. (Discreetly I suppose.)

However, alot of guys feel proud when their girls learn and demonstrate domestic skills that are more traditional, but aren't popular nowadays. My husband was proud of me for taking sewing classes - but I sewed my own skirt, that I wear on dates.

In my opinion, you should take the class, and do it for yourself and your own sense of accomplishment. (Although doing something like, sewing the guy a tee-shirt he can wear around with some personalized and cool logo summing up his own personality, MIGHT pass, but it depends on the guy.)

I still think most guys would rather have something shiny, new, with a motor, or runs on electrical power, etc. Now maybe, a quilt or blanket would really impress his mom........ *lol*

i think of the surprising reaction, a minimum of for the guy's perspective, is to not have a 6 month anniversary. This makes the guy ought to purchase a contemporary as a replace of desirous to purchase a contemporary. Now, there is the rigidity of what present to purchase, how lots to spend, what are the parameters of the present (humorous, psychological, intense, naughty?) on the only twelve months anniversary, all of us be responsive to the female greater efficient, we are greater comfortable interior the present figuring out to purchase situation, and the presents become lots greater efficient. in case you ought to have a 6 month anniversary, ask your self him with a attractive nightie or some thing of the variety and don't assume a contemporary from him. he will love that.
