Argos sells home moving sets which includes bubble wrap, boxes etc.
Or try typing boxes into google. There are online companies that will send you some. Also, if you've hired a removal firm they'll either be able to lend or sell you some.
Failing that, ring up your local shoe store - they've got the best boxes and will often let you have some.

Go to grocery stores and ask them to save some banana boxes for you. Banana boxes are the best because they have covers, and hand-slots for carrying them. They stack nicely and are very strong. I like to put a large plastic bag inside as a liner before packing the stuff. They are also good for storing stuff, and they're free. The stores are glad to get rid of them!

Liquor stores are great, as boxes may not be huge, but can hold alot of weight. Ones with compartments in them are great for dividing glassware, with much less newspaper packaging with the cardboard inserts. Not good to have boxes that are too large, unless you've got movers, as I always tend to fill to the top, and then they are really heavier than I want them to be.

Most moving companies sell all kinds of packing supplies. You could try the local U-haul.

Lots of places listed here by people are great places to get boxes! I have a suggestion though, don't get boxes so big they are too hard to carry! ( I did that once)
