You could apply this arguement ot birth control or the morning after pill. In fact, they are trying to, in certain states. 1.) A fetus is NOT the same as a child - or even a fetus after a certain time period into the pregnancy. the fetus doesn;t have awareness, or conciousness, or even a brain (and we take the plug out on people who are brain dead)The body will naturall abort pregnancies if it detects an abnormality, we are more capable of doing so. That's why there are time limits. Stop emotionalising the issue - it's a logical fallacy (constantly talking about rape is emotionalising for the other side. I'm being objective) 2.) Birth contol and the morning after pill attempt the same end result as abortion. They are not 100% - what about the people for whom they failed? It's still their choice. 3.) Why insist someone whos made a bad choice be left with the consequences? Doctors help smokers with lung cancer and drinkers with liver problems. Yes, I know this is a pregnancy not a disease, but as I say - at this point it is NOT a baby. It is the start of a baby - like the situation before you take the morning after pill. Or sex, before you use contraception. It is the possibility, which you are manipulating. 4.) In no way is this the same as killing random already born concious children. That is an incorrect comparison. Again, time limits, developmental stages, etc. The difference is the level of development the cells are at. They have potential to be a child - but so does evey egg. And every sperm, but masterbation is not murder.

Diet, weight, and stress all play a role, too. Make sure you are not too thin, this can make it hard to concieve. If you are trying to get pregnant you should be taking folic acid (found in prenatal vitamins). You should not smoke and try to stay relaxed. Don't use birth control and leave it to nature, try not to stress you or your partner about not being pregnant yet. Talk to your gyno. I prefer to go to a woman because they sympathize more and are easier to get answers from. If you really are a teen your body is much to young to handle a pregnancy, it can cause many complications for you and the baby, and you are more at risk of having a baby with abnormalities or birth defects. You are also more at risk of having a still born baby or a baby that self aborts. Think about what you are doing before you go get yourself pregnant. It isn't all fun and lovey. It's a full time job that doesn't end because you want to go out with friends or you're tired.

Here are some things that could cause women not to concieve.

1. Endometriosis is when the uterine lining that sheds with each monthly period (called endometrial tissue) grows outside your uterus.

2. An ovulation problem is any condition (usually hormonal) that prevents the release of a mature egg from your ovaries.

3. Poor egg quality,If your eggs are damaged or have chromosomal abnormalities, they can't sustain a pregnancy. The quality of your eggs declines significantly with age.

4. Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS),Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) causes small cysts to grow in your ovaries, hormone imbalances, and unpredictable ovulation patterns.

5. Blocked fallopian tubes, Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes prevent your eggs from getting to your uterus, and your partner's sperm from getting to your egg. Leading causes include pelvic inflammatory disease, sexually transmitted infections such as chlamydia, and previous sterilization surgery.

6.Sperm allergy, If you have an immune reaction to sperm — and less than 2 percent of women do — your body may produce antibodies that kill sperm cells.

7.Combination fertility problems, A couple is said to have "combination" fertility problems when both the man and the woman have fertility trouble, or when one partner has multiple problems.

8. Unexplained fertility problems, Your doctor may diagnose you with an "unexplained fertility problem" if he or she can't pinpoint the cause of your trouble conceiving. Some experts think being significantly under- or overweight, exercising excessively, and even environmental toxins may be contributing factors, but have confirmed no direct links between fertility and those possible problems.

9. And you could be having to much sex, or not having sex at the right moment, The guy might be wearing underwear that are to tight.

10. The only other thing I can think of is stress, if you are putting to much pressure into getting pregnant your body feels overworked about it and stress can keep your body from dropping good eggs. Remember: NO STRESS

Here's a new one that may be a possibility. Their previous form of birth control made them have a hormone imbalance resulting in infertility or a long time trying before they get pregnant.

number one reason is lack of ovulation. This is also the easiest to fix. Some people have scar tissue in their tubes due to STDs or endomitriosis. A hormone imbalance, poor health, obesity, age, all can be factors. Then there are the women who ovulate normally, have no scar tissue and seem 100% fine, and still cannot conceive.

If their periods are not regular, or they do not ovulate. Those are the easy ones there are also tons of other reasons like idimetreosis. If you are diabetic it is harder for your body to become pregnant.

If you are trying I would go on a health cleanse and try to get your body opperating normaly and then see if you can become pregnant. If it is a irregular period problem then get on birth control for a few months to regulate yourself.

There's a million reasons...ranging from an actual physical inability, to things as symple as diet exercise and stress...

Or it could be your partner...

You should both go to the doctor and get checked out if you're trying to have children and not succeeding.

Although...symply judging by your screen name...you may want to put that off for a few years...
