I beleive that they most likely will because they dont want to be beat out by sony and their $500 shitty version and the car or rent payment $600 20 g.b. I am getting the 360 premium $399.99 for xmas, so my bet is that they will buck it down $25-$100 before xmas.

XBox 360 will absolutely come down in price. Look at the last XBOX...it was $300 or $400 dollars when it first came out. Now it's around $100.
There are many factors that influence the price drops. Competition, improvements and cost reductions in production...finding parts cheaper...new releases or versions.
The new Playstation is coming out and it costs a bundle. XBOX costing less will make it seem like a good alternative to Playstation 3, so I would think a price drop may come around the release of Playstation 3 to try to sway people away from Playstation 3 and to Xbox 360.

not now but eventually. once the Wii and PS3 hit the shelves the 360 will be old news and not many people will really want it then. so in order to keep sales volume up, they'll have really no choice but to lower the prices in an attempt to keep up with the others. happens everytime the console wars start. one always comes out first from the gates with a huge lead, after the other two follow suit, whoever was first generally doesn't finish the race.

Of course the 360 is going to drop in price. It won't be an Earth shaking drop, but just enough to counter the release of the PlayStation 3 this holiday season.

properly there became a value drop at the instant so: center gadget:$199 ( no longer well worth it counting on what sort of gamer you're ) 20gb: $259 60gb: $299 ( it fairly is probable the final one in case you play and obtain alot yet you at the instant are not likely to bypass overboard ) Elite: $399 ( i might say that's for super extreme game enthusiasts because of the fact it has 120gb = O ) i'm getting the 60gb in a pair of days so bypass with that it will be very well worth the $299

I hope so, and think they would have to in November when the PS3 comes out EVEN THOUGH the PS3 is going to cost like $800.00. If Microsoft does not it will hurt their Christmas sales.

I doubt it, at least for now. They are losing money on every unit as it stands...
