No Neyo is not gay and the pictures where he was getting served up are forreal. Neyo is actually married to his bf and have a baby. And No, he's not on the DL. If you don't belive me go to http://www.sandrarose.com/news.htm or allhiphop.com under rumors http://www.allhiphop.com/rumors// Essence released a notice saying that know one of that name (Barbra Stradoff) works for Essence nor is Neyo no where in October or November issue.
If he was it wouldn't matter because he makes hit after hit!!

R+B singer NE-YO is vehemently denying claims he is going to announce he is gay. The SO SICK singer's publicist has slammed reports the singer will announce he is gay during a New York City press conference this week (begs28AUG06) and insists that he will also not be coming out in the latest issue of Essence magazine. Ne-Yo, real name SHAFFER CHIMERE SMITH, was forced to address the claims after an e-mail was circulated on the internet purportedly including quotes from the interview, which are attributed to a woman named BARBRA. A Def Jam representative says, "It's completely false. There isn't a staff member by that name at Essence, nor is Ne-Yo going to be featured in the October issue of the magazine."
BUT if he was gay it would hurt I think..my daughter would not like him anymore--

Ne-yo is pop singer. You like pop singers because of the package they offer. If most of his audience is female and they found out that they can't fantasize about being his lady as he sings in his songs, than yes, most definitely his career is over. I don't have a problem with gays, but this is the music business. Business being the operative word. If sex appeal to the opposite sex didn't matter, Jessica Simpson would not have a career.

Yes I think it will.Look at Eric Sermon. When it was revealled he was gay,no one wanted to work with him.It ruins their 'thug' image.I have nothing against people that are gay,but in the world of hip-hop it's always been a hush hush thing.

Hmm...I usually have pretty good gay-dar. I don't think he's gay. I could be wrong. Personally I don't care - I like his music whether he is straight or gay. As for the lady who says her daughter won't like him as much if he is gay, she should try and raise her children in a way that embraces tolerance, not ignorance. Who he dates shouldn't change whether or not you like his music.

i doubt he's gay, but it shouldn't hurt his career as long as he keeps making hits. look at luther vandross and missy elliot...

the only thing he'll probably lose are the fans of him more than the fans of his music.
