I had my period aug 11 and yesterday was day 20 and i started again andyone ever have this happen or is this normal

You know I took the shot for 3 years. I never had a period. I quit taking it and it took me 6 years to get pregnant. I have heard a lot of horror stories about the shot.

If this is your first shot...I strongly suggest to not take another one. There are SERIOUS side effects to the shot. You may not be able to have children again. I spotted pretty much the whole time I was on Depo Provera...and after I got off I didn't get my period for another 6-7 months. I was not able to get pregnant for a year and a half after that. Doctors actually told be I wasn't going to be able to have kids. To answer your question though...it's normal from what I've heard everyone has different experiences with the shot. Some never have their periods, some spot, and some have regular periods.

Are you talking about provera--the pills to induce a bleed--or the depo provera shot?

was on depo for ages until 13 months ago when decided i wanted ttc for the 2nd time but with no luck.now i bleed for 4 days exactly every 14 days.strange isnt it.doc reckons its normal for me but ive never had that before.read lots of neg things about depo recently.

get off of the shot it screwed me up now that I want to have kids I cant
