If you live up here in Mass. I always say any hot weather after August 15, is a very few days (as a kid I remember it being hot until at least Labor Day). Best vacation time up here is mid July to first week of August (if you like hot days, long days mid June to mid July with some hot days). So much for the global warming augment, I feel it is more global cooling, but what do I know. My heat bill will be soon going through the roof much like all the heat that I am paying for, and then I need to have some guy in Mexico tell me how much hotter it is down there that year then last, please about January send that problem to me...75 to 80 instead of just around 75 degrees...are they kidding me we here in the Northeast would love five more degrees in January.

I think we have been relocated to Iceland! Heatwave? Whats that? We haven't had more that three weeks heat in two years.I am not going to buy summer clothes any more and if you see me in the road wearing a raincoat and thick jumper then you know its me.....got fed up looking for that hot sun....it doesn't exist in England. This place is sooooo cold and wet its unbelievable.

My oh sits and watches the weather reports as though they are spouting from the bible. I stick my head out the door and decide what the day has in store, that way is usually far more blooming accurate unfortunately.

Was wondering that too! Now they say September will be the wettest for years. Should we believe them?
