Yes i have played Monopoly, I think everybody has!
Well in my family if someone controlled most of the board than we would argue because that person had to cheat!

Before computers I played Monopoly a lot! Sometimes those games would go on for hours! By the time it was down to the last two people it went pretty fast. Sometimes we counted the value of money and property to determine who won.

specific I even have performed Monopoly! I hate the sport to provide help to realize the reality. I dont have the attention span to take a seat down and play for hours and hours on end! the only time i had a coarse journey with Monopoly became while my sister tried to make me end a sport! Yea I gained that arguement, I placed her in a head lock!

The name's game is monopoly which logically means that one who has supreme power will win most likely. If the player has maximum control over the board then it is rather obvious to win the game.

Two things.

1: the player would dominate and get cocky and everyone else would be miserable playing knowing they would lose.

2: the person kept building and building and would eventually land on someone else's property and have to start mortgaing to pay a mere $100. Then they would sell off entire properties to keep building their empire although in making part of the empire strong they were weakening the empire as a whole

What a great question AND social commentary.

I stopped playing it because I'd get really pissed off when someone else controlled the board!

I would go into serious debt, unless I was the one in control of it. It would then be the other way around.

Is this a subliminal message about dictatorships? LOL...
