I just take each day as it comes and try to take nothing for granted...Yes, I suppose I do look forward to my future, because I'm making good choices now that should help build a foundation for the rest of my life.

Honestly, yes. My ultimate goal is to take over the world and I am not joking. People are so beat down, they don't vote, they say "what difference does it make". I say crime is out of control and they say "There is nothing you can do about it, people are going to do bad things". Well here is the difference between me and them and this is the reason why I am looking forward to the future. I believe whole heartedly that things can be changed. I do not think we just have to accept criminality. People are defeatist and I am a defeater. I will pave the roads to my palace with their broken spirits. I will invigorate man again and fill his sails with the winds of change.

I'm not looking forward to it--I'm actually apprehensive about it. Studies have shown that if the problem we're (America) is having with illegal immigrants coming over continues at the rate it's happening now, by 2025, America will be in the same shape as Mexico is today--poor, dirty, ruined economy, etc. Who would look forward to that?

Right now I'm living in the moment. It's all I ask for. If I could have the one beside me that I need, I would say all will be fine. But there's no guarantee of that, so I look forward to thinking that it might be, but always thinking that it will never be.......

I'm more resigned to it than anything. I've sold out most of my principles to the almighty dollar, and while I may still have a great book in me, I realise my rebellion and righteous anger was merely the vagary of a mediocre youth, which is pretty disappointing. So now it's just a matter of getting financially secure, paying taxes, raising good kids and you know... boring stuff

I believe in living in the moment. Carpe per diem. The future will work itself out.

Of course!
If you don't have hope for your future, you don't have much. Every day is a new day - and every day you can make fresh new decisions. What's not to like about that?

I am. I love being back in school. And I'm finding it easier now than as a teen. I'm less distracted and more goal oriented.
