I do not buy goods that are made in Israel or that go to support the terrorist state of Israel. There are too many items and companies to mention. Why? Well I feel that every little bit of resistance helps.

I boycott sit-down restaurants because they don't allow for a smoker's section anymore in this state. I boycott indoor shopping malls because of the inconvenience of having so far to park from a store I want to go to. I boycott ARCO gasoline because of the amount of water they add to thier gas

It's tough, but I boycott gas. I love and served my country most of my life and if I want to I can drive a BMW but I choose to drive an Austin Mini.

Our country is under attack. The enemy is not a government, therefore, a government, like the USA, cannot fight it. The enemy are oil baron billionaire religious leaders who are NOT affiliated with any government. To defeat them, we must strike them where they live, in the bread basket. If we stop buying their oil and we strengthen opposing religions against these terrorists, we can defeat them.

Starbucks - because they indirectly use slave labour - and they hideously overprice the swill they call "coffee"

Gap - because they use sweatshops

Nike - same reason

Nestlé - because they tell african mothers that their powdered milk is better for their babies than breast milk, and give them a free sample, which lasts just long enough that the mother's breast milk dries up. Then the mothers have to use the filthy african water to make the formula - and have to spend money they can't afford buying it too.

Macdonald's - because they are responsible for huge swathes of jungle and forests being cut down and burnt (which contributes to global warming) in order to make way for cattle (which release vast clouds of methane, which is worse than co2 for the atmosphere) - which they pay a pittance to the south american farmers for. And then sell very poor quality products to people. Their SALAD has dangerous levels of salt and sugar in it for god's sake.

I am currently boycotting any boycotts. I do this because I am opposed to boycotts.

Wal-Mart

Because they don't treat their employees very well. Where I live, they hire illigal immigrants. Everything they sell is made in China. I don't have anything against China, however I like to buy things made in the U.S. I think our jobs should stay here in America instead of being shipped overseas. Things cost a little more, but I like to look at it as self-preservation.

All 0870 telephone numbers should be boycotted. They charge you 10p a minute just to wait in a queue. You can find cheap/free alternative numbers on www.saynoto0870.com Sky made over £600,000 last year making people "hold on".

The meat industry. It originally all sprung from the BSE crisis we had here in England. But the way meat is farmed is unacceptable to me.

French wine.
Why ?
Because I remember the French farmers setting fire to our lorries carrying live lambs being exported to their country.
What a way to protest against imports.
