...by that I probably mean 30 plus. I'm in my mid-thirties now, and I finally feel comfortable in my own skin. I don't obsess anymore about the length of my legs, size of boobs etc - actually, I don't care at all. I am what I am. Provided I look presentable, that's all that matters. It's really liberating.

Do you feel the same - or are you still a bit of a worrier?

I wish I were so comfortable! I fret over everything!! My husband is 30 and his friend's wives are in their mid 20's, so I feel I have to look as good as they do. I have always been complimented on my looks and I feel like that is " who I am", when it is gone, who will I be??? I can pass for 25, but not in my eyes! I see all the flaws magnified. I won't wear a swim suit because I feel disgusting! I miss out on a lot of happiness because I am preoccupied with people seeing my flaws! I know it is SAD! I don't think others know this about me. I am really NOT a shallow person!

Well to be honest, I am not yet thirty and feel very good in my skin. I have a wonderful family and husband that adores my body and now I think just getting to brain and my life to catch up with everything that I am trying to get done. I guess its more about what your focus is, when I was younger i think I was more after attention and attracting a certain type of guy. Now I am trying to attract as much money as possible so that my life and my childrens empire can grow.

I am exact opposite. For some reason I am having issues with every aspect of my appearance. I have been with my husband for 10 years and I know that he thinks that i look okay. I think that I am feeling "old and out of touch". I am 30. It was a major jolt when I realized that I am not in my twenties anymore. I feel younger than I am and I fell like I should act my age......now I have a headache.

when I was entering my 30's I decide I could lose weight but other than that be yourself and I found my man soon after I realized that.
Don't worry and be happy, sure people look at you if you don't have the up to date fashions but why dress in all that tight stuff if your not comfortable. Be what you want and it gets you far, don't be someone your not and your not happy. I enjoy my life, have more friends, and had and have fun jobs.

Hi Donna, I am 51 and I can tell you it only gets better as you get older!! I remember a friend telling that as I approached 40 I would be more content with me and not be worrying about "everything" anymore and I thought...yeah, right! Well she was right and more. I am so much calmer now and I'm loving life! Enjoy coming into yourself and being able to enjoy life now. Congrats on "getting there!"

I'm much more comfortable. I look at the younger girls and women and am amazed that I use to be one of them... Hair perfect, make up just right, always aware of others around me and wondering what they are thinking of me. That's all gone now and I'm finally enjoying life.

Yes you're right as long as I don't scare the kids or get really fat and unhealthy I don't care what I look like. I don't have enough time to worry.

No I'm getting worse with age. I used to believe that I could find a man who would love me as I am... now I think that I'll never find one because I don't look like a super-model.

I think its terrific that you have learned to love yourself. Wish I could.

I'm not thirty yet, but i'm comfortable with myself too, so,as long as you're comfortable with yourself, that's all that matters.
