32/4+4*8?

Remember the Order of operations: PEMDAS ( i use the mnemonic Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally)
P - Parenthesis
E - Exponents
M / D - Multiplication and Division (usually done left to right)
A / S - Addition & Subtraction (usually done left to right)

32/4+4*8

Division comes first (32/4)
32/4=8+4*8
Multiplication next (4*8)
Then addition
8+32=40

Have you ever heard of PEMDAS?
(parethasis, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction)

So using that order you multiply 4*8 to get 32.
then you divide 32 by 4 to get 8
then add 32 plus 8 to get 40

if you use PEMDAS in order you will always get it right. (unless you make an arithmatic mistake)
