I have been pregnant three times and never had Braxton Hicks. Don't worry about it, it's called false labor for a reason. Not every woman gets 'em and even if they do it doesn't mean they will again. At 33 weeks you're seeing your Doc weekly now anyway, s/he will let you know if there is something wrong. If you're not seeing the Doc weekly you will be soon. Talk to your Doc at your next visit s/he should have explained Braxton Hicks to you already, but you may have forgotten. You also should have gotten a book on pregnancy from your Doc at your first or second visit, READ IT! It has lots of info your Doc doesn't have time to go over.

Why would you want to be experiencing braxton hicks at 33 weeks any way.... My son was born at 33 weeks and 3 days thank god he was perfectly healthy only had to be in the hospital for 2 weeks. But if you aren't having any contractions real or fake then that means your baby is happy when he/she is.

I have had two children and didn't experience Braxton Hicks Contractions with either one of them. The first was born at 37 weeks and the second was born at 40 weeks. When in doubt, ask your doctor.

Yes. your body is trying to get ready for the birth. as you get further along you will get more Braxton Hicks but since you are only 33 weeks they will not be as often.

I am on my third pregnancy and I have never had braxton hicks contractions. I used to wonder why but now I don't even notice. You will be fine, but if you have any concerns in pregnancy its best to speak to your care giver, good look

I went 40 weeks and never had any contractions that I could actually feel. My OB detected some on the monitors twice, but were too mild for me to feel. My daughter was breech, so I had a planned c-section.

Every woman and every pregnancy is different. I didn't have any with my first pregnancy. I'm 27 weeks with my second and I've been having them about once an hour for the last 7 weeks. I'd say you have nothing to worry about.
