and the reason why??

No, I was just interested but I do remember some years ago it was said to mean something but I dont know what. Personally I tend to start flipping through the back pages first then work my way to the front.

magazine: usually the back (it's just the way that seems comfortable when I'm flipping through it)

newspaper: typically the front (sometimes in the middle, then jump around). Why? because I look for an article that grabs my attention, then read that one (and sometimes I'll see another article that I want to read while flipping the page)

For some reason I have got into the habit of starting on the inside back page and working forward. It's automatic and feels natural and comfortable now - Is it to do with being right handed? or just the fact that I always seem to do things differently? I eat left handed despite all friends and family doing the opposite - go figure.

Depends on the section. For most of the newspaper, I start in the front since the stories continue inside. The section with the comics gets started backwards. :)

As I always read the headlines on the front page, it seems natural to keep reading from the front through to the back.

I generally don't bother with these unless I see something interesting on the front page or cover. So I suppose the truth is the front and then to the article that piqued my interest.

magazine at the back, newspaper at the front.
have to read my stars first in mag and all the gossip is there.
newspaper makes you jump about anyway as it is always vontinues on page 4 or something irritating like that.

I have to read everything from front to back, even if I just flip through the pages.

I feel like I everything is progressive, so you always need to start at the beginning.

I just sort of flip through the whole thing first, and then I go back to the things that caught my eye...and then I finish the rest later.
