Hi Zephy. I can tell by your question that you are a deep thinker. I am not so smart, but let me offer one small idea. I would change our global economic system. So much of the fuel for our hurts and meanness comes from our greedy economic practices. I would make sure every person had enough, and that getting "more" for yourself was not valued as much as giving more for the sake of others. Our heroes would be the creative people who helped the world be a happier place, not the powerful and rich people who horde more than they need. How is that? I am not very old or bright. But wouldn't that make the world better?

It's hard to pick just one or a few things. There's so much I'd like to change, most of it is stuff I know is wrong but wouldn't really know how to change for the better if given the opportunity. In the end, I always just say forget changing the world; give me a private island. Not that I don't think there's hope but I'm pretty sure any solutions I could come up with wouldn't necessarily help more than hurt. Like they say, hindsight is 20/20 - and I would hate to have the weight of regret on my shoulders for unintentionally causing the deaths or suffering of large numbers of people, or something along those lines. Sometimes doing nothing is the best thing one can do.

If I could change anything in the whole world it would be poverty....I have to live my entire childhood in poverty and there are people who had it worse than me there is no reason for people to starving to death when a 16 year old makes a couple million for being a hype man for some rapper friend of his from high school....If poverty was not a problem in the world me may not have so much greed and envy....kids could go to school and all be wearing the same clothes and not be the kids with the hand me downs or the smelly kid because their parents coulnt afford soap....there just isnt an excuse for it

I would cast away all the evil. Let goodness reign supreme. Pollution would cease to exist!
The world would never get too hot! I know you sun lovers won't like that! The sky needs more colour it's too blue too often! So that would be changed. And there's too much green on the ground so that would be changed too.. How about grass that's amethyst colour?
How about a pinkish rainbow-like sky instead of a blue sky? Paved Streets and highways would be yellow rather than ugly black! There'd be no killing of any animals! Killing of such would be cause for banishing from the planet!
Even to merely think of killing an animal could be
cause for banishment! The buildings that we live in would be mostly under ground with entrances to the surface!

I would eliminate hunger and poverty all over the world. I would clean up our environment and discover or invent more cost efficient earth-friendly fuel resources. I would wipe out all prejudices and stereotypes. I would get rid of fads and cliques. Eliminate wars and the divergence between religions. Finally, I would find a better way to determine who would be the best heads of states, presidents, kings, etc. because some of these elected officials (namely our US President) are total idiots who do not have the best interests of the people at heart.

And I like what Paulina said... Make men menstruate!!! That would be awesome.

But I CAN change the world. The first thing I will do is to make people reading this believe they can do it too. I have changed many things already. The influence may be limited of course, but i try my best and every little bit of effort helped. The thing not to do is keep thinking and talking what you would do. Only actions will have consequences. Start small, and involve as many as possible.

I would make a telepathic connection between all humans so they'd know if someone was ill, angry, depressed. I'd make people open minded to the dangers they put themselves in. I'd make the people not need food or water to drink. I'd change the natural human need for self-destruction. I'd make all the people of the earth venerate to only one Divinity(a very good, and wise religion like Christianity). I'd make everyone care for each other, and help each other. I would end television, jealousy, envy, and other bad emotions go away. I would end pain, and every day there should be a nice cool day. I'd make everyone have a good home to live in with comfortable beds to sleep on, I'd make understanding and philosophy, and religion primary school studies, I'd end this constant struggle for money and wealth, and end lies and deception, and end mystery and secrets. And many, many, many more.

That's a great question. If I had the power to do anything I want with the world, I would try to set a boundary on human encroachment onto the wild life. Maybe our next generation, or even this one, will have a chance to se the animals that that already extinct. To further protect the environment, and animal lives, maybe human should have wings to fly to places instead of having to drive a car consuming gasoline.

But if I want to be selfish, I would have men menstrate instead. Then this world will really change.

I would change social class. People should be treated the same. We all breathe the same air; poor, or rich, moral or immoral, etc. Just because people have differnt ways of living doesn't mean they should be treated any better or worse. Maybe through this, no children would be crying from lack of love or food, and people would be more caring toward one another. I chose this because nothing makes me sadder than the way people treat eachother in todays society. Why not spare a nickle or a moment of time that would mean nothng to you, but a big deal to that poor child.

I'd put all the right wingers on an identical planet at the opposite place on our orbit around the sun. All the terrorists could have their own planet too.
I'd get rid of all the toxic waste and radiation we've created, and mend the hole in the ozone layer. I'd make humans less fertile as a species, fix up the bits we've messed up and tell everyone to get their act together because you don't get second chances that often.
