Need some advice as to how to continue life as a right winger. Also, any advice on why this has happened to me would be welcome.

I'm only joking. I wouldn't consider myself right wing or left wing. Partisan squabbling and sniping from both sides is a waste of time. I just wanted to see the reaction.

Does anyone know what Democrats stand for?
Does anyone know what Republicans stand for?

I don't understand why it has to be divided. I'm not a very political person. I try to look at who would do the best job, and frankly, I don't think we the people, have had very good options lately!

How do you make the jump from left to right without stopping to see how things are here in the middle? I mean we actually have it the best here, we can see some good things in what both sides try to do, but realize both sides are inherently corrupt at the same time. See what we need are more middies, to offset the lefties and righties. Its also the place where common sense and intelligence are used more often than the sides. See we here in the middle can see both sides of a problem. We don't have God telling us what to do as the righties do, and we don't have our emotions telling us what to do as the lefties do. We can actually use our brains and come to an intelligent conclusion based on all facets of a particular issue. I know its a little more work this way, to actually think for yourself, but its really worth a shot. Of course in the end, it is the lefties or the righties who win the election, but that's only because they are so good at smearing anyway with something real to say, and they also have the backing of some very well-funded political parties.

Complain about how the bleeding hearts won't let Congress get anything done, they don't support the troops, and they worship the devil. Don't ever engage in open, useful debate but, rather, invoke 9/11 to blindly support and defend anything the Bush administration does or says, only watch Fox News, and become an evangelical Christian and insist that God is on your side no matter how many innocent civilians are killed in the pursuit of "freedom" in the Middle East. Other than that start reading and listening to Ann Coulter, Seah Hanniety- not Alan Colmes-, Bill Oreilly, and Rush Limbaugh ONLY. Quote the Bible to support your beliefs despite any contradictions and talk about how your shi t doesn't stink. If anyone disagrees with you call them a freedom-hating liberal commy pinko and refuse to listen to anything they say. Make sure not to include logic or reason in any of your beliefs. The only thing you need to support your platform is faith and Jesus. I'm sure the GOP puts out a handbook outlining all of this better so you might check Rush's or Bill's website. Happy ignorance!

Well to start it's probably because you are getting older and realizing that people have to be responsible for themselves and that government is not meant to be the answer to everything.

You will also probably start to wake up everyday not feeling so angry and bitter about everything and everybody in the world. You will come to the conclusion that we have it pretty good here in America and if you can help out your fellow man do so and feel good about it, but don't feel the need to brag about it or brag about having the idea to help people, just do it when you can.

You will also realize that Republicans do not want to destroy the planet, little do liberals know that Republicans have kids and grand kids that they care about also and do not wish for them to live in tha suck after they die. I can't understand why Libs think they have a monopoly on caring about the future.

Also-Read a book called, "Do As I Say (Not As I Do): Profiles in Liberal Hypocrisy" - By:Peter Schweizer

It will really give you some in-sight into the party you have left.

Congratulations...you have just entered the world of reality and not dreams.

Read the following books:

1. Ghost Wars by Steve Coll (The secret history of the CIA, Afghanistan, and Bin Laden).
2. Imperial Hubris by Anonymous.
3. Collapse by Jared Diamond (How Liberal Societies Fall).
4. Against all Enemies by Richard A. Clarke.

If your not military orientated, ok it is your choice, but support the troops.

Celebrate your clear view on the world and what is really happening. So many liberals are too blinded by hatered to see what is really happening to the world. I think most people who are liberals are attracted by the social issues of no self-responsiblilty, and then they are just along for the ride on the rest of the issues.

I don't even know what the hell "left" or "right" wingers means. I have my own set of values that are not determined by some sliding scale....

It probaby occurred because of spontaneous remission from liberalism, or reality suddenly setting in. "Right winger" is mostly just name applied to sensible people, so you don't have to do a whole lot.
