I'd like to go to Great America or Marine world but the parks are closed duting weekdays. What else is there to do?

Pier 39 is cool,
check out Alcatraz Island,
Eat at Tarantinos.
The Cliff House,
The Shadows restaurant for split pea soup,
trudge up the Fulton Steps to Coit Tower
head to Tower Deli and get a big sandwhich and a couple of beers and drive down the coast line for a picnic.
Fort Funtston
Go to Pacifica and rent a horse to ride on the beach.
The Aquarium,
Steinhart museum,
Japanese Tea Gardens,
The Arboretum - Hall of Flowers,
Golden Gate Park and rent skates,
The Presidio
Stowe Lake and feed the Buffalo Herd,
The Zoo,
Coyote Point Park,
the Castaway
The Pataya Princess

The Palace of Fine Arts in San Franciso. Shopping on Haight. The beach. Driving along the coast. Walking anywhere your heart desires with camera in hand (this is always for free).
