Well, it depends on the further role you would like!
For example, if you like to be the decisive person in the relation, you go ahead and give him your number. If not, you should help him understand that he can make a step!
Now, if you think he would like to be the leader you should let him space to think he is so! As you already know, man is usually the boss in a relation, as long as he follows the way respected and wanted by the woman!

Write your number on a piece of paper and when you pass him in the hallway, give it to him and say "here, give me a call this afternoon, will ya?"...then keep walking. He'll call. Godloveya.
