3 months in the US, unless something is wrong with the baby, then its about 22 weeks. After that, if something is wrong, you can have your labor induced and the baby will be born "stillborn" (dead).

But, if anyone willingly with no medical reason wants an abortion after 3 months, she needs help. Why keep a baby in your body that long if you are going to kill it? The sooner the better anyway, because once your body starts to change, it will never go back to its prepregnancy state (for example... the major changes your n*pples make, your hips getting larger... all which starts changing by the time you reach your second trimester) If you wait and then have an abortion, your body is not automatically going to go back to what it was once its started changing.

I have a friend that thought her baby was going to have defects and she was waiting for results bacause if it did she was going to have an abortion. She told me she had to have the abortion before 6 months. She found out in time that the baby was okay, so no abortion.
