okay... i'm not emo... i'm a big prep. ad i'm trying to explain emo too be mom... how do i do that?
like shes trying too get me in emo crap and she dosen't no emo! and one of my best friends listens too emo music and every time my mommys sees her shes dressed like emo... but shes not really emo! and soo my mommy thiks that the new fad!
so how do i expain what emo is?

emos listen to happy soft preppy songs like fall out boy, and greenday, and panic at the disco.

Emo is a lifestyle....it's not all about the look...it's the feeling behind it....there's absolutely nothing wrong with being emo....it's lame to label people neway....but it's just how you go about doing things.....several kinds....punk, emo, prep, goth, jock, nerd...tons of things going on now a days.....each person has their own opinion....example: moping around would go with emo....
and being snotty would go with prep...it's just stereotypes...and it's pretty lame...
